With all of the announcements taking place around the homestead, I thought it was important to keep all of the GroundHog Chronicle readers informed about the doings "down under." Yesterday, one of our own brought another clan into our midst, announcing their formal decision to dig a few burrows together. Rather than simply sharing our fields, these two decided to join together, locating a nice place on the other side the pond to dig themselves a new beginning together. As you can imagine, we are all very excited to learn about their commitment to each other particularly as they begin to plan their futures together. I'm sure there will be many more announcements in the coming months as holes are dug, friends are made, and the new clan is welcomed into the neighborhood. As long as the "above ground" dwellers remain on the porch, I'm sure we will see a significant growth in our numbers in the coming years.GC

Hoo-rah! Congratulations from the porch dwellers! We always enjoy adding more to our midst. We are looking forward to many fun things in the future as we keep an eye out for our furry friends from down under.
Membership in a community requires contribution in addition to simple response. If one wishes to participate in the conversation, one must assume the same level of risk as those standing in the middle of the field. Resting along the edges of the pathway, waiting for others to dig the hole, doesn't allow one to realize their voice in the clan. You can do it, C, I know you have it in you.
yes, the one who brought in another is writting. with a heavier left hand, a bigger smile, and a skipping heart, it is official! Feb 21st, to be exact. we hope all the groundhogs come!
